For those who are on PC and are experiencing lag, there's a couple of great tools out there to help you! And here they are:

Leatrix - This tool changes your network settings, forcing windows to reply to the server for every single data packet that's sent to it, instead if grouping data packets in pairs, and then sending a reply. This is useful for everyone, independent of location or distance from the server.

Battleping/WTFast - These are tunnelling program's that redirect your connection to a specific server, instead of the connection "hopping" between various servers. Useful for those who are located far away from the server.

These two types of program's can be used at the same time, and result in a MAJOR lag decrease (in my experience, from 650ms down to a stable 200ms).

Use the tools, and stop eating plumes.

Great Info Bro!

Here's the download link for Leatrix : http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info13581-LeatrixLatencyFix.html

Here's the link for WTFast : http://www.wtfast.com/

Here's the link for BattlePing : http://www.battleping.com/

I'm using Leatrix personally because it's free, as for WTFast, I've used the paid version for AION online US servers, it didn't help me much because I was lagging too much, but it did help, BattlePing and WTFast has trial versions too.

Thanks for posting those links Ken! Give WTFast a try alongside aleatoric. The reduced packet request size should work well with a tunnel. It certainly made battle ping work better for me :)

I use Leatrix and WTFast, and with those I could finally dodge plumes and landslides in Titan Ex. Would be difficult to consistently dodge Twintania's divebombs without this software too I think.

@Onpdor You're welcome Bro, I'll give Battleping a try, didn't got the result I was looking for with WTFast, but this might be it! lol, my lag days over =P!

Yeah, there's reports of different programs acting better, depending on your isp's configuration. There's more program's out there too, but battleping and WTFast are the two most popular ones.

If you're using the Battleping free trial, it limits you to 20 minutes. It only costs $5.00/month though, so isn't overly expensive to enjoy better gameplay.
